How to Use an AED (Defibrillator) in Cardiac Arrest

Did you know that every year in the US, around 2,500 people age 5-35 years old go into cardiac arrest? An ambulance can take as long as 10-15 minutes or more to arrive - bystanders doing CPR and using an AED are what determine survival in these situations.

Which is why it’s IMPERATIVE that each of us know how to perform CPR and use an AED. The good news? It takes ZERO medical education to use one!

steps if you find someone collapse:
(1) Call 911 and have someone grab the aed
(2) start cpr
(3) attach aed as soon as it arrives (watch video)
