The Guide to Prevent Choking + Poisoning

— WHY I MADE THIS

Too often in the ER, I think: "If I could have just taught these parents two days ago, they could have saved their child."

Plus, most CPR courses are built around adult cardiac arrest, and/or taught by someone with no pediatric experience.

That's why I built this.

Because as a mom, I knew parents deserved better: a course with a child-first design, created by someone whose actual job is saving these precious lives.

Child-first doesn’t mean child-only. This course covers CPR for adults, kids, and infants—but unlike most courses, pediatrics isn’t tacked on at the end. It gets the attention it deserves.

AS SEEN ON

Dr. Darria Long — Harvard & Yale-trained ER doctor, professor, mom of 3, and national child safety researcher and expert.

As an ER doctor and instructor for both the American Heart Association and American Red Cross, Dr. Long has resuscitated adults and children in the ER and trained the physicians and nurses who do the same.

When it's your child, your family, you want to be taught by the person who's been there.
The one who's said: "We got them back."

What Parents (and Nurses, and Doctors) Are Saying

Just found your channel through a share of your drowning post, which I second- hand shared, and I’m in love. I mainly worked NICU and PICU and adult UM/CM, and that was still so much exposure to accidents and safety issues. God bless you for working ER and for putting this content out there. I will be sharing more.

Why No-Panic
Parenting Courses?

Created by ER Doctors and Pediatric Injury Experts

This course is created and taught by the ER doctors who actually run these resuscitations. Led by Dr. Darria — a Harvard & Yale-trained, board-certified ER physician — alongside a team of adult and pediatric ER doctors. The doctors who say “we got them back.”

Our team also includes one of the country’s leading EMS experts, a national health policy leader, and a longtime federal expert in pediatric injury — and we conduct ongoing pediatric injury research ourselves.

You’re learning from the people who don’t just teach this; the research it, set policy around it, and practice it in the ER every day.

Built Child-First

Kids aren’t just small adults in an emergency. Their anatomy, their physiology, and the emergencies that actually happen to them are different — which is why we built this course deliberately for both adults and children, from day one.

The pediatric content has the same depth and rigor as the adult, because from the very beginning, kids were never an afterthought.

Every pediatric scenario is designed with your child in mind. So when seconds matter — at any age — you already know exactly what to do.

Built so you never forget what to do

Most CPR courses are one-and-done: you take it, and starting the next day, you start to forget.

We built ours differently. You get regular, easy refreshers — quick scenarios that keep the knowledge warm — so when seconds actually count, you’re not trying to remember a class you took two years ago. Plus, because resuscitation guidelines and pediatric safety science evolve, our members get updates whenever they do.

So you always know the best, most current way to keep your child safe.

Giving You Peace of Mind

I know this stuff is scary. I’m a mom, too.

I’ve seen parents faces – both when their child is injured, AND when they’ve had a near-miss.

That’s  why, even when we’re covering scary stuff, I’ll never fear-monger. I’m not here to scare you more.

I’m here to help you DO something about the emergencies that already scare you – to empower you to prevent them, and have the confidence to respond, when they happen.
